The weekend varies through the sister channels of iFilm English, Arabic, Farsi and iFilm2. Therefore, the end of week falls on Thursday on iFilm2 and iFilm Farsi, Friday and Saturday on iFilm Arabic, and Saturday on iFilm English.

iFilm English:

On the verge of the new year, iFilm English TV is set to televise ‘Saint Mary’ on Saturday December 23 at 22:00 GMT.

Saint Mary, the mother of Jesus, is one of the most cherished holy figures for Muslims. She is the symbol of purity and fortitude. To celebrate her life, this movie paints a picture of her in the fashion Islam portrays her.

iFilm2:

Let's have an hour or so of sheer laughter on iFilm2 on Thursday December 21, which coincides with ‘Yalda Night’ (winter solstice in English) that is a huge celebration in Persian speaking countries. The Iranian comedy movie ‘Wedding Rings’ will come to you this weekend.

A young man named Hamid works in a big company. The things that happen in the company endanger his job position and family life.

iFilm Farsi:

iFilm Farsi will not broadcast any movie this weekend as the channel is set to host a grand Yalda celebration, which will last two hours starting from 16:30 GMT on Thursday December 21.

iFilm Arabic:

iFilm’s Arabic speaking audience can watch ‘Soltan’, a movie on love and greed, on Friday December 22 at 19:00 GMT.

Soltan is a thief at the airport to earn a living. Once he steals an envelope that turns out to bear some documents and a deed to a piece of land that a wealthy dying man has granted to Maryam, his servant’s daughter. Now the old man has passed away and members of his family want to sell his land, but there’s just one issue. Maryam’s land has to be part of the deal, and in order to prove her rights, she has to somehow get her hands on the stolen documents.

The channel is also set to bring to you ‘Saint Mary’ movie in Arabic on Saturday December 23 at 19:00 GMT.
